All Power Movers trucks are 24′ or 26′ box trucks!

We provide an estimate for your move cost based on the following information. Crew Size/Labor Rate and Number of Trucks Determined By:

• Apartment or House (flights of stairs/elevator availability)
• Number of Rooms (bedrooms + additional rooms: kitchen, living, dining, office, storage, garage, patio, etc.)
• Inventory to Be Moved (furniture items, boxes, etc.)

Travel Fee Determined By:

• Distance of Move (starting point to ending point and any stops in between)

Things that are difficult to estimate are  traffic, walk distances from home to truck, elevator wait times, etc. Call us and we can help you with your specific move!

We provide an arrival window because although we’d like to be able to, we cannot control everything! If you’re familiar with traffic, accidents that cause insane backups, etc.–these things can prevent the crew from arriving at a specific time. If your familiar with moving, like we are, then your familiar with moves taking longer than expected (this can be because of a broke down elevator or even because a client “forgot” to mention an extra stop or something similar). On the day of your move, our foreman will keep you informed and let you know when they are headed your way!

Yes! Your crew will arrive with a basic set of tools & can disassemble & reassemble furniture items. For more complex furniture items, we do ask that you have the assembly instructions readily available for the crew to reference.

All of our crews will arrive in a truck stocked with padded moving blankets & shrink wrap. All of your items will be padded & wrapped before they load them on to the truck. If you have specialty items (mirrors, artwork, etc.), we call prior to your move to determine if you’d like to purchase boxes for those items as well!

Yes! We have a 2-Hour Minimum for all services.

There is still a Travel Fee for Loading/Unloading Services. Your crew travels to and from your location in a Power Movers’ truck that is fully stocked with all the equipment they will need to provide an efficient and professional service.

Yes! We can move you anywhere in the contiguous United States. We pride ourselves in offering a streamlined long-distance moving service. You will have the same moving crew from start to finish & they will be on a strict timeline, getting your belongings to your new destination as quickly & seamlessly as possible!
